About the Opportunity
Our client, a multi-billion dollar credit-focused alternative asset manager based in Houston, is seeking an Associate to join its Investor Relations team. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a career in investor relations alongside an experienced, collaborative team, with strong potential for growth as the platform's investor base continues to expand. The Associate will play a central role in producing investor reporting and materials, managing LP communications, and supporting the firm's fundraising and client servicing efforts. This is an excellent fit for a candidate early in their career who is eager to learn and grow within alternative investment management. This role requires five days per week in-office.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the production and delivery of regular investor reporting, including quarterly reports, portfolio updates, and bespoke client deliverables
- Serve as a key point of contact for ad hoc investor queries and data requests, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely responses
- Maintain and develop IR databases, CRM systems, and reporting workflows to support a growing and diversifying investor base
- Lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of high-quality investor-facing materials, including pitchbooks, DDQs, one-pagers, fund fact sheets, and due diligence data rooms
- Own the development of presentation materials for investor meetings, roadshows, LP advisory board meetings, and industry conferences
- Partner with investment and compliance teams to ensure all materials are accurate, current, on-brand, and compliant with applicable regulatory standards
- Manage and coordinate investor communications, including subscription processes, fund updates, announcements, and responses to LP due diligence requests
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm's IR infrastructure, processes, and collateral library as the team and product suite evolve
Job Requirements
- Only big 4 auditors 2-3 years
- Proven track record creating polished, high-quality investor materials, including pitchbooks, DDQs, marketing decks, and fund collateral, ideally in support of active fundraising
- Familiarity with the LP landscape and investor due diligence processes, including experience managing data rooms
- Strong understanding of private credit structures, fund mechanics, and investor reporting conventions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with CRM or LP management platforms is a plus
- A proactive, collaborative self-starter who thrives in a lean team environment and takes ownership of their work
The annual total compensation is up to $110,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
