The International Tax Senior will support the global tax function by managing cross-border tax compliance, planning, and advisory matters. This role ensures the company meets its international tax obligations while optimizing tax efficiency across multiple jurisdictions. The International Tax Senior works closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to address complex international tax issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review international tax filings, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT/GST, and other indirect taxes for multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist in the development and execution of global tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and support business objectives.
- Research and interpret international tax regulations, treaties, and guidance to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.
- Support transfer pricing compliance and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with internal finance, accounting, and legal teams on cross-border transactions, expansions, and reorganizations.
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and coordinate audits or examinations with external advisors.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions for financial reporting under US GAAP or IFRS.
- Mentor and guide junior staff on technical matters and best practices in international tax.
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of international tax experience, ideally in public accounting or corporate tax for a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of US and international tax laws, treaties, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and foreign tax credits.
Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
