A publicly traded global consumer products company with a portfolio of internationally recognized brands is seeking a Senior Analyst, Technical Accounting to join its corporate finance team. The organization operates across multiple international markets and offers exposure to complex accounting matters, SEC reporting, and corporate finance initiatives within a large multinational environment.

Position Overview

This role will support the company's technical accounting and financial reporting functions, with responsibility for researching and documenting accounting matters, assisting with SEC filings, supporting external audits, and partnering with stakeholders across the organization on U.S. GAAP compliance and accounting policy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support technical accounting analyses and related disclosures for quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Qs and 10-Ks).
• Research and document accounting conclusions for complex and emerging accounting matters.
• Assist with external audit and quarterly review processes.
• Help maintain and update corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide U.S. GAAP guidance to business units and support implementation of new accounting standards.
• Participate in SOX compliance activities and internal control processes.
• Support special projects and ad hoc requests from senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 2–5 years of public accounting experience, preferably Big 4.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and public company reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting SEC filings and external audits.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency preferred.
