Senior Accounting Analyst

Working with a growing alternative asset manager in NYC that’s adding to its fund finance team. Strong platform, good backing, and a role built for someone who wants broad exposure instead of being boxed into one narrow lane.

This is a hands-on seat touching core fund accounting responsibilities while also giving you visibility into how the business runs, how investments flow through the structure, and how decisions get made behind the scenes. Lean team with smart people and real runway for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with quarter-end NAV closes across multiple investment vehicles
• Review capital calls, distributions, allocations, and waterfall calculations
• Partner with fund administrators, auditors, and tax providers on recurring deliverables
• Support investor reporting packages and ad hoc LP requests
• Help with new fund launches, operational initiatives, and process enhancements

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in public accounting (financial services preferred) or fund accounting
• Exposure to private equity, credit, hedge fund, or alternative investment structures
• Understanding of partnership accounting, capital activity, and fund flows
• CPA or progress toward certification is a plus
