Managing Director / Director – Transaction Opinions (Valuation Advisory)
A leading advisory firm is seeking a senior-level professional to join its Transaction Opinions practice within the Valuation Advisory group. This role is a key leadership position supporting the continued growth and expansion of the platform.
The ideal candidate is a well-established professional in the fairness and solvency opinions space, with a strong market reputation, deep client relationships, and a demonstrated ability to originate and execute business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver fairness and solvency opinion engagements across a range of public and private company transactions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to boards of directors, special committees, executive management teams, and legal counsel.
- Drive business development initiatives, including originating new engagements and expanding existing client relationships.
- Oversee end-to-end engagement execution, ensuring analytical rigor, defensible conclusions, and high-quality deliverables.
- Help shape the strategic direction of the Transaction Opinions practice, with a focus on growth, market positioning, and operational excellence.
- Partner with senior leadership to scale the platform, enhance processes, and identify new service offerings.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative team environment.
- Represent the firm externally through thought leadership, industry events, and client engagement.
Salary : $250,000 - $500,000
