Commercial Real Estate Servicing Associate (12 Month Contract-to-Hire)Location: El Segundo, CA | Schedule: Onsite | Type: Contract-to-Hire (12 months)About the OpportunityA leading investment organization is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Servicing Associate to support the day-to-day operations of a growing portfolio of commercial mortgage loans. This role sits within a collaborative, high-performing team and provides exposure to multiple groups across the firm, including finance, legal, risk, and asset management. It’s a strong fit for someone with hands-on CRE loan experience who enjoys a mix of analytical work, borrower interaction, and operational execution.ResponsibilitiesMonitor borrower compliance with loan documents and manage routine commercial loan transactionsSupport daily servicing needs, including data analysis, reporting, and risk management tasksReview system-generated reports for delinquencies, maturities, call dates, payments, and interest rate changesResearch and resolve loan-related issues in coordination with internal teamsPrepare and process collateral releases and communicate with custodiansCollect, review, and track annual financials, rent rolls, and other borrower deliverablesAssist in closing commercial mortgage loans and coordinating capital call requestsPartner with servicers, vendors, attorneys, and other external stakeholdersContribute to special projects and process improvements as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field3–5 years of experience with commercial real estate loans (required)Experience with CRE servicing systems (e.g., EPAM or similar) is strongly preferredAdvanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables)Strong understanding of loan structures, financial statements, and real estate finance fundamentalsAbility to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle a high volume of tasksStrong communication skills and comfort working across departments and with external partnersCompany DescriptionAtlas Search is an executive recruiting firm dedicated to placing accounting, finance, middle office, information technology, human resources, and office / accounting support professionals.
