Legal Recruiting Assistant (5-Month Assignment | Boston, MA | Hybrid Schedule)
Overview:
A top law firm is seeking a Legal Recruiting Assistant to join its Boston office on a 5-month temporary assignment (December–April). This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who’s interested in legal recruiting, talent acquisition, or law firm operations. The position offers a hybrid schedule and the chance to work closely with attorneys, law school representatives, and internal recruiting teams during one of the firm’s busiest hiring seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare for the 2L recruiting season by gathering information for law schools and organizing candidate materials.
- Assemble interview packets for attorneys, including resumes, evaluation forms, office statistics, and school data.
- Prepare statistical reports and maintain candidate tracking in viRecruit and Flo Recruit.
- Serve as a point of contact for students invited for call-back interviews and manage all scheduling, updates, and changes.
- Track interview feedback and assist in compiling materials for Hiring Committee meetings.
- Generate response letters and help maintain recruiting databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support additional recruiting initiatives or projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 0–2 years of relevant administrative or recruiting experience (law firm or campus recruiting experience a plus).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with viRecruit preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organization skills.
- Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed during peak periods.
Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 remote (Boston, MA)
Duration: 5 months (December 2025 – April 2026)
