What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Accounting Director position at Atlas Search?

Responsibilities:
- Oversee fund NAV finalization, including P&L reconciliation, investor allocations, and issue resolution with third-party administrators
- Review management fees, incentive allocations, carried interest, capital calls, and distributions in line with governing documents
- Approve investor capital account statements and oversee administrator deliverables
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP and manage the year-end audit process
- Produce monthly performance reporting, forecasts, NAV estimates, and related management analytics
- Support regulatory filings, investor reporting, and custom client requests
- Partner with operations, investor relations, tax, legal, compliance, and other internal teams
- Lead process improvements, controls enhancements, and strategic projects across the platform
Requirements:
- 8–15 years of experience in private fund accounting, fund finance, or controllership roles, including experience overseeing complex open-end and/or closed-end investment structures.
- CPA required
- Prior experience supporting credit, structured finance, or other complex alternative investment strategies is highly preferred
Salary : $175,000 - $250,000
