Energy Project Manager

Our client is a large organization operating in the energy and infrastructure space. They are seeking an Energy Efficiency Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and oversight of energy efficiency initiatives. This role works closely with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure projects are executed effectively, remain cost-conscious, and meet program requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Support the management of energy efficiency projects, including scope, schedule, and budget tracking
• Help develop and maintain processes used to implement energy efficiency programs and initiatives
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
• Oversee vendor and contractor activities, including reviewing deliverables, monitoring performance, and processing invoices
• Assist with quality assurance and quality control activities, including periodic site visits
• Track and analyze project data to monitor progress, performance, and financial spend
• Prepare routine reports and forecasts for management review
• Support customer relationships to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction
• Ensure adherence to safety practices and internal control requirements
• Contribute to special projects and other operational needs as assigned
• May support emergency or off-hours activities when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in energy efficiency, construction, facilities, or a related field
• Experience supporting construction or project-based initiatives with milestone payments or budget forecasting
• General knowledge of energy efficiency measures and building systems (e.g., HVAC, lighting, controls)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
