What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relief Veterinarian position at Atlas Consultancy Group?
We are working with a rapidly growing, membership-based veterinary group that is seeking experienced Relief Veterinarians to provide coverage across several locations in the greater Washington DC area throughout July, August, and September.
This organization has built a reputation for delivering a modern veterinary experience, combining exceptional medicine with a strong focus on client service and team wellbeing. Their hospitals are thoughtfully designed, technology-forward environments featuring advanced diagnostic capabilities, digital workflows, and streamlined processes that allow veterinarians to focus on patient care rather than administrative burdens.
These relief opportunities are ideal for veterinarians seeking well-organized shifts with predictable daytime hours. Clinics operate weekdays from 8am–6pm and weekends from 9am–5pm, with scheduling planned well in advance whenever possible, making these assignments particularly attractive for relief professionals looking to secure future dates ahead of time. Current coverage requirements include multiple dates across Washington DC and Bethesda, MD, with additional opportunities expected as the partnership continues to grow.
Whether you're looking to supplement an existing relief schedule or secure regular ongoing assignments, this could be an excellent fit.
