Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering professional, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients. This role involves assessing patient needs, coordinating care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care including triage, assessment, treatment, and education.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Assist in procedures and examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare provider.
• Coordinate care and provide discharge instructions or follow-up guidance.
• Support patients and families with education about conditions, medications, and ongoing care needs.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Serve as a clinical resource to Medical Assistants and other team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing)
• Licensure: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in SC
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS or other specialty certifications preferred
• Experience: 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred; experience in a specialty setting (e.g., urology, oncology, surgery) a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of equipment and/or patients (up to 50 lbs)
• Manual dexterity required to operate clinical instruments and perform procedures
• Visual and auditory acuity to monitor patient conditions and respond to alarms or requests
