Senior Corporate Accountant - SEC - Hybrid
Overview:
The Senior Corporate Accountant will report to the Financial Reporting Manager and play a key role in managing corporate accounting, financial reporting, and process improvements. This position supports monthly close activities, SEC filings, budgeting, financial analysis, and other strategic initiatives across a multinational organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly close activities for the corporate entity, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and performance analysis.
- Prepare intercompany allocation invoices and ensure accuracy across global entities.
- Support quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, earnings releases) in compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Calculate and allocate global stock-based compensation using Equity Edge (E*TRADE).
- Assist with technical accounting matters, new standard implementations, and internal control compliance.
- Partner with auditors to support internal and external audit requests.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline reporting and enhance efficiency.
- Support ad hoc projects, including goodwill and intangible assessments, system upgrades, and cross-functional initiatives with FP&A, Treasury, and Investor Relations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 4 years of accounting experience within large, multinational, public companies.
- Strong general ledger and SEC reporting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with HFM, SAP S/4HANA, and Equity Edge preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
