Senior Client Relationship Associate
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday – Friday (In-Office)
Salary: $120k - $125k
A leading, independent investment management firm is seeking a Senior Client Relationship Associate (Private Wealth) to support high net worth individuals and multi-generational family office clients. This role is focused on delivering a white-glove client experience, managing complex account structures, and partnering closely with internal advisors and external stakeholders. This is a client-facing service role (non-advisory) offering exposure to sophisticated client needs, including trusts, foundations, and family office structures.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients and family office relationships, handling inquiries with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Account Administration: Manage all aspects of account lifecycle, including onboarding, maintenance, transactions, and cash activity across complex client structures
- Client Meeting Support: Coordinate and participate in client meetings, prepare materials, track follow-ups, and ensure seamless execution of deliverables
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with portfolio managers, tax advisors, estate attorneys, and other external professionals to support client needs across trusts, foundations, and LLCs
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare customized client reports, analyses, and presentations; support ad hoc client requests with tailored financial information
- Cash Management & Operations: Oversee cash processing, money movement, and account-level activity with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Client Communications: Draft polished client correspondence, including letters, reports, and other deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CTFA (Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor) or similar credential strongly preferred.
- 10 years of experience in private wealth management, family office, or high-touch client service roles
- Strong understanding of trusts, fiduciary accounts, and complex wealth structures (e.g., foundations, LLCs)
- Advanced Excel and experience with reporting tools and account management systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Client-first mindset with a proactive approach to service
