About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will support the monthly revenue close process, ensure compliance with ASC 606 and US GAAP, and help maintain accurate and timely revenue reporting for a publicly traded organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong accounting foundation who is looking to deepen their technical experience in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Ensure revenue recognition practices are fully compliant with ASC 606 and US GAAP
- Assist with contract review and identify appropriate revenue treatment
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for audit support
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, FP&A, and Operations to validate revenue data and resolve discrepancies
- Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, and automation initiatives
- Support SEC reporting requirements as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in revenue accounting or audit
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and US GAAP is required
- CPA or progress toward CPA is nice to have
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
