Position Summary: We are currently searching for a Revenue Operations Accountant to join the finance team reporting to the Senior Revenue Operations Manager. Working closely with the corporate and divisional finance teams, the Revenue Operations Accountant will have responsibility to ensure accurate recording of all revenue related transactions and compliance of such transactions with revenue recognition accounting guidelines in accordance with ASC 606. The Revenue Operations Accountant will also be responsible for related monthly/quarterly account reconciliations. Revenue Operations Accountant will also perform and assess credit for new and existing customers while maintaining database in Netsuite/Oracle. Standardize processes for credit and collection function, including monitoring of mailbox, collection activities including monitoring past due accounts, standardize workflow and improve efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities:
Review booked orders and related order paperwork to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with GAAP.
Monitor and reconcile unbilled receivables, accounts receivable, revenue accounts, allowance for doubtful accounts and customer liabilities
Perform and assess credit for new and existing customers and maintain database in Netsuite
Prepare various ad hoc reports and other special projects for management as requested.
Prepare recurring and period-end journal entries,
Timely completion of month-end close.
Prepare quarterly reporting schedules required by Corporate Accounting for financial statement disclosures.
Assist in testing the ERP system for new enhancements and upgrades as required.
Participate in the quarterly/annual audit with the external Audit firm. Participate in UK statutory audit with external Audit firm.
Required Skills:

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
Minimum of 2-3 plus years of related financial and accounting experience in applying revenue recognition criteria in a software environment
NetSuite; Oracle and experience a big plus
Previous software industry/public company experience preferred

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
