Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees across multiple active job sites
- Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), including union rates, fringes, dues, and benefit contributions
- Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws (Davis-Bacon, state/local requirements)
- Track and reconcile employee hours, job classifications, and cost codes in coordination with project managers and field supervisors
- Calculate and process union benefit contributions, garnishments, and deductions accurately
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports and other compliance documentation
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees, union representatives, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 3-8 years of payroll experience from a construction background
- Union Payroll experience
