Grant Accountant – Nonprofit Social Services (NYC)
About Our Client
Our client, a NYC-based nonprofit social services organization focused on government-funded community programs, is seeking a Grant Accountant to join their team in the NYC office.
Position highlights
- $60k-$75k salary

Key Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of roughly 10 grants and program budgets
- Partner with program teams to keep spending in line with budgets and program needs
- Work directly with city agencies and funders to resolve invoicing and budget questions
- Support budgeting, forecasting and grant tracking
- Join internal and external meetings about funding and program support
- Help keep funding moving across different programs and sources
- Adapt to the varying requirements of multiple funders
Qualifications
- 1 years of relevant experience in a NYC social services or nonprofit setting
- Background working with NYC government funding agencies
- Hands-on experience with grant invoicing and/or budget management
- Strong communicator who works well cross-functionally with program teams
- Deeper grant experience is a plus
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
