Accounting Manager

Private Equity-backed healthcare services organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join a high-growth, acquisition-driven business.

Location: Stamford, CT (Hybrid - approximately 1 day/week in office)

Compensation: $120K-$140K base 10% bonus

What You'll Do

• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger activities across multiple entities
• Manage revenue accounting and ensure compliance with US GAAP/ASC 606
• Lead purchase accounting and integration efforts for acquisitions
• Support technical accounting, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and external advisors
• Help build scalable accounting processes in a fast-growing environment

Ideal Background

• 4-15 years of accounting experience (public accounting, industry, or a combination)
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, purchase accounting, and revenue recognition
• Experience working with ERP systems and multi-entity environments
• CPA preferred but not required
• Exposure to automation, AI tools, or process-improvement initiatives is a plus
