The Atlantic Group has partnered with a growing organization in the Wilton, CT area. They have an immediate need for an Assistant Controller to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance. Role OverviewSeeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our corporate accounting team. The ideal candidate brings strong corporate accounting expertise, a hands-on mindset, and preferably experience in the leasing industry. Key Responsibilities-Assist in overseeing corporate accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger accuracy-Support financial statement preparation and internal reporting for leadership-Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy in accounting processes, compliance, and controls-Assist in managing audit processes and regulatory reporting as needed-Support continuous improvement of accounting systems, processes, and internal controls-Provide guidance and support to accounting staff and collaborate with senior leadership Qualifications-5–10 years of corporate accounting experience-Leasing industry experience strongly preferred-Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices-Hands-on experience with month-end close and general ledger oversight-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills-Ability to work onsite in Wilton, CT Note: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 3 business days of application.
