What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator/Front Desk position at Atlantic ENT?
Atlantic ENT is growing and looking for a Patient Care Coordinator/Front Desk Representative to serve as the first point of contact and face of the business for our patients. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in a service or patient facing industries, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a great experience for our patients!
**Clinic locations in Wall Township, NJ and Toms River, NJ**
Spanish Speaking would be a huge plus!
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound calls
- Take payments
- Schedule new patients, manage EHR
- Confirm appointments
- Verify, collect, and upload insurance information
- Welcome and check in patients upon their arrival
- Respond to patients questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Manage referrals, upload documentation, keep detailed records
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical terminology and Insurance: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Mac products Preferred)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical administrative support and office management
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Customer service skills with a focus on patient interaction
- Proficiency in computer skills, including medical software
- Bilingual in Spanish, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations
- Previous experience in a medical office is a plus
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
