Currently we are hiring Project Managers to support a large datacenter project in Texas. We are hiring Mechanical and Electrical and CSA Superintendents
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead overall delivery of assigned project scope from pre-construction through completion
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to required quality standards
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and site teams across all phases of construction
- Develop and maintain project schedules, lookaheads and recovery plans
- Monitor project costs, forecasting, variations and commercial performance
- Chair client meetings, coordination meetings and internal project reviews
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Procurement and Commissioning teams
- Drive adherence to project safety standards, permit systems and compliance requirements
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals and technical documentation
- Identify project risks, constraints and mitigation strategies proactively
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
- Manage project reporting including progress updates, KPIs and executive summaries
- Oversee quality assurance and ensure installations comply with project specifications
- Support commissioning, startup and turnover activities
- Manage change control processes and client variations
- Resolve technical, commercial and operational issues efficiently
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Support resource planning and manpower forecasting
- Ensure project documentation and records are maintained accurately
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned initiatives
Authority:
- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
Requirements:
- Previous Project Management experience on hyperscale or mission critical projects
- Strong understanding of data centre construction methodologies and sequencing
- Experience managing large subcontractor and vendor packages
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and project delivery targets
- Strong commercial awareness and change management experience
- Knowledge of commissioning and turnover processes
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Strong understanding of health, safety and quality requirements
- Degree or trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction or related discipline
- Experience using project management and scheduling software preferred
