Position Summary
We are currently recruiting a Community Guide – Case Monitor. This full-time position pays $18.00 an hour and is located at New Castle, DE.
This position operates on a consistent morning schedule, 9-5 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility to support coverage on other shifts as needed.
The Community Guide – Case Monitor provides on-site operational and client support at the Hope Center, ensuring smooth daytime operations and continuity of care between overnight and evening shifts. Responsibilities include client engagement, facility maintenance, administrative support, and coordination with program staff to maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for guests.

- Verify and facilitate entry for clients, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with coordination, retrieval, sorting, and distribution of food and donations.
- Support volunteer coordination, tours, and activities.
- Perform administrative and operational support functions as needed.
- Assist with intake and room inspections for new referrals and move-ins/outs.
- Participate in the Rent Readiness Program, including inspections and client coaching.
- Coordinate with housing locator services and provide client support.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of common areas, including dining rooms and hallways.
- Remove trash, maintain safe and sanitary conditions, and ensure shared spaces are secure.
- Monitor residents to ensure safety, compliance with rules, and a respectful environment.
- Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or client needs.
- Attend required monthly operational meetings (held virtually, compensated time).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Walk, stand, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Perform frequent physical activities during the 9:00 AM–5:00 PM shift.
- Work in a dynamic environment requiring physical engagement and mobility.
- Standard hours Monday through Friday; occasional flexibility required for coverage or meetings.
