Title: LMSW – MAT Program

Tenure: Funded through 06/30/2026 with potential for renewal

Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour

Travel: Position is eligible for travel

Overtime Eligibility: This position is not eligible for overtime pay

Position Summary

We are currently recruiting an LMSW for a full-time position paying $40/hour. This role will support both the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program in Rockville, MD and the Montgomery County Correctional Facility (MCCF) worksite in Boyd, MD.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Serve as Therapist I/II in the MAT program, facilitating therapeutic engagement for jail-bound MAT clients.
• Complete comprehensive assessments for clients in correctional facilities who have been identified as having opioid use disorder and who are interested in MAT treatment.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic contact, including individual and group treatment for substance use disorders.
• Work collaboratively with MCCS staff, the MAT team, and HHS staff at MCCF to assess clients’ legal status, track pending legal matters, and support treatment continuity after discharge.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• High School diploma required
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
• Standard work hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (evenings/weekends may be required)
• Travel required
