Program Support & Compliance:
- Ensure all engineering and operations activities comply with applicable codes, policies, and procedures.
- Create and maintain accurate records including inspections, permitting, billing, and code compliance documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to support project execution.
- Maintain and update databases and client interface modules.
- Efficiently analyze, process, and accurately record large volumes of technical and administrative data.
- Review project requests with the Engineering team for approval and facilitate execution planning.
- Communicate and coordinate with Engineering and Operations personnel to ensure timely project progress and issue resolution.
- Monitor project deliverables and field activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and report discrepancies or deficiencies and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting best practices and lessons learned.
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries with timely and accurate information.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to a productive and positive work environment through active listening, collaboration, and constructive feedback.
- Support team, departmental, and organizational goals through special projects and other assigned duties.
- Demonstrate accountability and initiative in achieving measurable results.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and understanding of the National Electric Safety Code.
- General understanding of Telecom OSP Engineering and Design.
- Project Management Certifications desirable.
- Sitetracker Experience a plus.
- FROGS Experience a plus.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software applications is a plus.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers, vendors, and contractors.
- Strong problem solving, research, organizational, and analytical skills, combined with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines. The ability to multitask is also essential while remaining flexible with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Well-reasoned decision making with a high attention to detail regarding organization, planning, workflow, and project prioritization to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Highly ethical, self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and/or with limited direction, as well as cooperatively in a team environment, while consistently demonstrating collaborative, respectful, and productive work habits.
- Ability to exercise discretion when involved in highly confidential and sensitive matters.
- Requires passing a Background Check post offer.
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
- AA degree in any area of Engineering is a plus.
- Two years combined experience in Engineering or utility environment.
- Work for extended periods of time in a stationary position while consistently grasping, moving, and manipulating documents, office supplies, and other business materials.
- Use of a computer or other technological devices frequently and consistently for the purpose of reviewing, analyzing, creating, and transmitting, presenting documents, data, and other business-related information.
