Key Responsibilities
- Operating soldering irons to weld thermoplastic seams.
- Perform thermal welding/joining of thermoplastic composite materials using approved aerospace processes.
- Inspect components before, during, and after welding to verify dimensional accuracy, seam quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain and clean welding tools, fixtures, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Follow all aerospace safety, environmental, and quality requirements, including AS9100 procedures.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to producing high-quality aerospace components.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Basic computer skills for logging production data and reading digital work orders.
- Comfortable working with high heat tools and equipment in a shop environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floor with antifatigue mat.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements requiring manual dexterity.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, as applicable.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat/cold, noise, and production equipment.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour
