Duties
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls and floors to maintain optimal cleanliness and appearance
- Balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to ensure compliance with health standards
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems, mechanical components, and electrical connections to identify potential issues early
- Maintain detailed service logs documenting work performed, chemical levels, equipment status, and client interactions
- Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety protocols during daily route deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain maintenance procedures, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
Experience
- Prior experience in pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems and equipment troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with water treatment chemical handling and pool chemistry balancing
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and equipment repair using hand tools and power tools
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and clear communication skills
- Outdoor work experience that includes operating company vehicles in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of water treatment chemical safety protocols and proper handling procedures
