Job Overview
A growing national plaintiff-side law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Attorney in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in employment law, wage-and-hour litigation, class actions, and complex civil litigation.
The attorney will manage cases, represent clients in state and federal courts, and mentor junior attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Manage plaintiff-side employment, wage-and-hour, and class action cases.
- Handle litigation from start to finish.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal documents.
- Conduct discovery and take and defend depositions.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements.
- Mentor and supervise associate attorneys.
Qualifications
- 8 years of civil litigation experience.
- Minnesota Bar license or pending admission.
- Strong experience with motions, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
- Wage-and-hour, class action, or employment litigation experience preferred.
- Strong legal writing and communication skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
