SEC Financial Reporting Manager

One of our Bioscience clients is seeking a SEC Reporting Manager to own the preparation and filing of all external financial reports in compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial disclosures as a publicly traded life sciences company.

This is a direct hire opportunity. Salary range: $125-140K

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other disclosures)
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC rules, and internal controls
• Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Prepare and review financial statement footnotes and MD&A sections
• Maintain disclosure checklists and reporting calendars
• Support earnings release and investor reporting materials
• Partner with accounting, FP&A, and legal teams on technical accounting matters
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and regulatory updates
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5 years of SEC reporting or public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Experience in a publicly traded company or Big 4 audit environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
