Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions. In this role, you will deliver advanced nursing care, closely monitor patient status, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for critically ill patients
- Provide advanced nursing care in a high-acuity ICU environment
- Continuously monitor patient condition, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and response to treatment
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and critical care interventions safely and accurately
- Interpret diagnostic data and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Communicate critical lab values and patient updates to physicians per protocol
- Verify and carry out physician orders, including medications, procedures, and treatments
- Ensure proper documentation, consent forms, and pre-procedure requirements
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in emergency situations
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Perform additional duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Licensure: Active Multi-State RN License (Compact) or state RN license
- If licensed in another Compact state, must obtain state licensure within 30 days if applicable
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) required within 7 days of hire
- ACLS (AHA) required
- NIHSS required within orientation period
- Experience: Previous clinical experience will be evaluated
Preferred
- One (1) year of ICU or critical care experience
- CCRN certification preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- $38 – $53/hour (based on 36 hrs/week equivalent)
- Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus
