What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Services Coordinator position at Astra Behavioral Health Llc?

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Coordinating behavioral health services between Astra and local schools
- Acting as the main point of contact for school staff, therapists, and families
- Managing referrals, schedules, and caseload assignments
- Attending school meetings and helping coordinate services
- Supporting Day Treatment program operations
- Assisting with crisis coordination and urgent needs
- Handling parent and school concerns professionally
- Keeping documentation and communication organized and up to date
What You Need to Qualify
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate or Bachelor’s preferred)
- Experience working with:
- Children/adolescents, OR
- Behavioral health, education, or human services
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to complete required Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training (provided by Astra) after hire
- Valid Kentucky driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must pass:
- Criminal background check
- CPS check
- Driving record check
