- Meaningful ownership: Serve as a key contributor managing compliance, audit support, and tax planning initiatives that directly impact the business.
- Prepare and submit federal corporate and partnership tax returns, along with multi‑state income and franchise filings, resolving technical or electronic filing issues as needed.
- Analyze financial information and collaborate with accounting and business leadership to evaluate the tax impact of operational activity, including state apportionment and allocation across multiple facilities.
- Support federal and state tax examinations by assembling documentation, explaining transactional activity, and addressing inquiries or variance notices.
- Complete annual income tax provisions, reconciliations, and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including preparation of detailed supporting schedules under FAS 109 and FIN 48.
- Research federal, state, and international tax regulations, monitor legislative developments, and provide recommendations to improve compliance and tax efficiency.
- Perform international tax calculations, including GILTI, FDII, and interest limitation analyses under Section 163(j).
- Five or more years of experience in tax or accounting, with exposure to corporate or partnership taxation.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal business partners, leadership, and external auditors.
- Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and apply complex tax regulations in a practical business setting.
