What You'll Get To Do:

Indirect Tax

• Sales and Use Tax Account Reconciliation
• Information gathering and workpaper organization
• Business license filing
• Assist with indirect tax notices
• Research requests for tax exemption certificates

Income Tax 

• Prepare work papers for federal, state, and international tax returns.
• Assist in the preparation of tax journal entries and the yearly tax provision.
• Help with quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments.
• Reconcile the fixed asset roll-forward schedule and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with the tax team to complete audits and communicate with tax authorities.
• Manage miscellaneous filing requirements and organize data.
• Assist in addressing various international tax concerns, including compliance and reporting projects.

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience

• BS or BA in accounting or finance preferred
• 2 to 4 years tax experience is required
• Working knowledge of and experience with Corptax Software is preferred but not necessary
• Comprehensive proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Word
• Solid organization skills and attention to detail

The wage range of $65,000 - $75,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. *The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
