Job Title: Supply Chain Capacity Analyst

Job Description

The Supply Chain Capacity Analyst plays a key role in planning and optimizing labor capacity across a network of U.S. return centers. You will own weekly labor planning for multiple sites, develop hiring and variable labor plans, and provide data-driven insights that improve operational performance. This role combines deep analytical work, advanced modeling in SQL and Excel, and close collaboration with stakeholders, while also contributing to the rapid innovation of AI-centric tools and products.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly labor planning for individual sites and the broader network, ensuring staffing levels align with operational needs and volume forecasts.
  • Develop detailed hiring plans and variable labor plans that support both short-term and long-term capacity requirements.
  • Perform labor planning bridging to reconcile forecasted needs with actual execution and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Generate weekly reporting on site execution, including performance against plan and labor plan accuracy metrics.
  • Analyze and communicate execution-to-plan performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Bridge network performance results and insights to leadership, providing clear, data-driven narratives and recommendations.
  • Use data and metrics to identify process improvements and drive continuous optimization across supply chain and labor planning activities.
  • Own program strategy and end-to-end delivery for capacity planning initiatives, from design and implementation through to reporting and refinement.
  • Communicate program results, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and structured manner.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance advanced analytical models using Microsoft Excel and SQL to support planning and decision-making.
  • Apply prompt engineering techniques to effectively interact with AI systems and support the development of AI-centric tools and products.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and peers across multiple sites to align on plans, share insights, and ensure consistent execution.
  • Participate in testing new tools and supply chain products, providing analytical feedback and helping drive improvements.
  • Support cyclical and seasonal planning, including peak periods such as the post–Black Friday to January timeframe, by adapting labor plans and analyses to changing demand.

Essential Skills

  • At least 5 years of supply chain experience.
  • At least 5 years of program or project management experience.
  • Proven experience using data and metrics to determine and drive operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, VLOOKUP, VBA, and data links.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, including compiling queries and subqueries, performing aggregation and grouping, and executing data modification operations.
  • Experience using prompt engineering and the ability to effectively interact with AI systems.
  • Strong mathematics, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and high proficiency in creating and managing advanced models using SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • Analyst work background or equivalent analytical focus in higher education.
  • Conceptual understanding of systems and configuration management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, logistics, or related operational disciplines.
  • background working as a supply chain or capacity planner for multi-site operations.
  • Experience supporting labor planning for return centers or similar high-volume operations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools beyond Excel for documentation and communication.
  • Experience contributing to AI-centric products or tools, particularly in operational or supply chain contexts.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites (up to approximately ten) and balance competing priorities across a network.
  • Comfort working in cyclical, fast-paced environments with significant seasonal peaks, especially in the post–Black Friday to January period.
  • Openness to candidates with substantial relevant experience even if they do not hold a formal bachelor’s degree, where experience demonstrates equivalent capability.

Work Environment

This role is based in Bellevue, WA in a hybrid setting, with four days per week onsite and one day remote. You will work as part of a small, collaborative team of approximately six people focused on supply chain and labor planning for U.S. return centers. The work follows a weekly cyclical rhythm, with regular planning and reporting cadences and heightened activity during peak seasons, particularly from post–Black Friday through January. The environment combines independent ownership of up to ten sites with frequent stakeholder engagement and peer collaboration. You will regularly use advanced analytical tools, including Microsoft Excel and SQL, and will work with AI-centric products, testing new tools and driving continuous improvements in supply chain processes. The role emphasizes a professional, analytical, and innovation-focused atmosphere, where data-driven decision-making and experimentation with new technologies are integral to daily work.

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $64.00/hr.
