Category Procurement Manager - 150k

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including drafting RFPs/RFQs, cost modeling, negotiating contracts, and selecting suppliers.
• Category Planning: Translate broad corporate goals into long-term and short-term category strategies to maximize value and drive continuous improvement.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Manage vendor performance, facilitate routine business reviews, and identify opportunities for supplier consolidation.
• Market Analysis: Monitor global commodity trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing dynamics to adapt sourcing strategies proactively.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal stakeholders—such as Finance, Legal, Operations, and R&D—to ensure procurement strategies align with business needs.
• Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate supply disruptions, ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, and manage contract standards.
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Typically 3 years in strategic sourcing, category management, or direct/indirect procurement.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong in complex negotiations, cost analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in leveraging data analytics, predictive cost modeling, and business intelligence tools to inform category strategy.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $73.56/hr.
