About The Role
This is not a traditional, high-volume recruiting role. The focus is on strategic sourcing, pipeline development, and engaging hard-to-reach talent. You will work closely with leadership and serve as a key partner in shaping hiring strategy and identifying top talent for critical roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for a small number of highly specialized roles annually
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using LinkedIn and other tools
- Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines, including outreach to universities and professional networks
- Partner closely with Senior leadership and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring process
- Present qualified candidate slates and provide consistent updates on pipeline progress
- Support efforts to strengthen the organization’s presence within key talent markets
- Provide input on recruiting tools, systems, and process improvements (ATS/CRM)
- Strong knowledge of the Minneapolis talent market
- Proven success recruiting for niche or hard-to-fill roles, particularly within:
- Professional services
- Consulting or advisory environments
- Engineering, infrastructure, or project-based organizations
- Experience supporting energy or related industries is a plus
- Experience recruiting for roles such as:
- Project Managers
- Procurement or operations professionals
- Other corporate or professional services functions
- Background recruiting for or within project-based, technical, or consulting environments
- Strong relationship-building skills with a proactive, sourcing-first mindset
- Delivering high-quality, hard-to-find candidates
- Building strong pipelines for future hiring needs
- Establishing credibility as a trusted advisor to leadership
- Increasing visibility and engagement within target talent communities
- Experience with ATS and CRM platforms
- Familiarity evaluating or improving recruiting systems and processes
- Back ground supporting growth-stage or scaling organizations
- Established professional network within the Minneapolis market
