Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Analyze, prepare, and issue production work orders.
- Support capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Provide production status and lead‑time data to sales and management.
- Coordinate material requirements through ERP/MRP systems, inventory levels, and Kanban signals.
- Issue purchase requisitions for required materials.
- Monitor work‑in‑progress and proactively address delays.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Support engineering development projects from design through production release.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of production activity and inventory transactions.
- Analyze production processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and throughput.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and standard operating procedures.
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5 years of relevant experience in production planning, materials planning, or manufacturing scheduling.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables required).
- Ability to read and understand production documents, computer reports, and procedure manuals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Hands‑on production or shop‑floor experience.
- Experience supporting engineering development or prototype builds.
- Primarily desk‑based planning using ERP/MRP systems, with required time spent on the production floor to verify inventory and work order status.
