Description

Receive and direct incoming phone calls, type quotes and business forms, file invoices and literature, upload DOT Certifications on DOC Express, maintain tax exemption certificate books, maintain SDS Files. The Office Assistant is a full time position (Monday-Friday/8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and can be broken down to four areas of responsibilities: receptionist, typist, filing, DOC Express uploading. Receptionist: 1. Responsible for initial contact with incoming calls, directing callers to proper department/person. 2. Sending callers to correct voicemail or forwarding caller to correct cell phone when necessary 3. First contact with salespeople and customers and is required to greet them in a courteous manner. Typing Type lettings, quotations Filing Placing invoices into corresponding supplier and contractor file folders. DOC Express 1. Check DOC Express Website for access to IDOT Job that certifications need to be uploaded 2. Scan and save each invoice w/certifications to desktop and then upload.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.32 - $19.32/hr.
