You will spend most of your time in the field meeting business owners, presenting the program, qualifying potential partners, and guiding them through the application process. You collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to drive business sign-ups, build referral channels through community organizations, and support recruitment events. The position requires regular regional travel and offers uncapped commission based on the number of partners successfully onboarded.

Responsibilities

  • Visit prospective local businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a 90-minute driving distance to introduce the delivery partner program.
  • Present and pitch the new program opportunity to business owners and decision-makers to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
  • Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process.
  • Lead and manage prospect and applicant activity in Salesforce, maintaining an organized and up-to-date pipeline.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall-style meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and program awareness.
  • Import Excel spreadsheets and other prospect data into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective partners by providing exceptional customer service and clear communication throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Identify and solve problems for applicants in the field, removing barriers to application and launch when possible.
  • Consistently work toward recruitment goals and take advantage of commission and incentive opportunities by converting qualified businesses into active delivery partners.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Proven outside or field sales experience, including door-to-door or territory-based selling.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems; Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for engaging business owners and community stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and track activities in a CRM.
  • Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip on a daily basis to visit targeted towns and prospective businesses.
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to represent the program credibly in the local business community.
  • Attention to detail when handling applications, data entry, and follow-up activities.
  • Comfort working with multiple systems and technology, including Excel and CRM tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Residence in or strong familiarity with the Pocatello and Idaho Falls, Idaho area is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in roles involving sales negotiations with customers is a plus.
  • Experience in field sales or territory management is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for working with others and collaborating within a small, field-based team.
  • High sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting recruitment and conversion goals.
  • Problem-solving skills to support applicants and address issues that arise during the application and onboarding process.
  • Ability to build relationships with community organizations, such as chambers of commerce and economic development groups, to generate referrals.
  • Comfort presenting in group settings, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.

Work Environment

This is a field-based role covering the Pocatello and Idaho Falls, Idaho region, with regular travel to nearby towns up to approximately a 90-minute drive away and up to 4 hours round trip daily. You work in the field three to four days per week, visiting local businesses and attending community events, and work from home on days when you are not in the field to manage your pipeline, complete follow-ups, and update Salesforce. The role relies heavily on CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, as well as Excel for data management. The position offers uncapped commission with earnings tied to partner conversions, including structured payouts per application and launch milestones, plus additional monthly incentives for meeting goals and mileage reimbursement at a set rate per mile.
