Claims Business Analyst

Job Description

• Analyzes and documents business processes, data-flows and uses of information technology.
• Evaluates performance for opportunities to increase automation, improve efficiency, and increase accuracy.
• Measures performance of current processes by capturing metrics and comparing performance to benchmarks.
• Makes recommendations to supervisor for changes to processes and technologies that will improve operating efficiency, quality and reliability of unit results.
• Documents processes for analysis and models changes to processes and/or technologies.
• Documents current business rules, procedures and proposed changes.
• Recommends new service level metrics and benchmarks based on implementation of proposed processes and technology improvements.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and querying
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, modeling, and reporting)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ways of working
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud-based platforms
