This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with flexibility for remote work in some cases.

The position is structured as hybrid, with a strong preference for candidates who can work near key office hubs, while highly qualified candidates may work fully remote with periodic travel for onsite collaboration. You work primarily with digital tools, including office productivity software, learning management systems, and eLearning development platforms such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise, Captivate, and other content creation tools. Responsibilities
- Own all facets of learning development, including conducting needs assessments, designing and developing learning content, and ensuring successful delivery that aligns with business and learning objectives.
- Deliver high-quality learning solutions that support a blended learning approach across multiple modalities.
- Stay current with emerging learning theories and trends and help develop pragmatic strategies and continuous improvements to enhance the learning environment.
- Use a combination of knowledge, data, intuition, and adult learning theory to provide insight when developing learning assets.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on new learning tools, techniques, and delivery modalities, and build awareness of these among stakeholders.
- Provide daily support for the Learning Management System, including ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Act as a change agent by embracing new ways of learning and staying current on learning technologies such as LMS platforms, content providers, and eLearning tools.
- Mentor others and provide guidance on instructional design techniques and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively under pressure, and adapt to rapidly changing deadlines and needs.
- Minimum of 3 years of instructional design experience, including experience with e-learning design methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and learning and development methodologies.
- Familiarity with adult learning theories and proven models of instructional design.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and related terminology.
- Experience designing content to learning industry standards such as SCORM and AICC.
- Skill in using learning development tools such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise, Captivate, and other content development tools.
- Ability to uncover customer needs and translate them into viable learning solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working in ambiguous situations and willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Technological aptitude and comfort exploring and adopting new learning technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred.
- Experience providing daily support and maintenance for a Learning Management System.
- Experience acting as a Subject Matter Expert for learning tools, techniques, and delivery modalities.
- Demonstrated success in applying blended learning strategies across different delivery formats.
- Experience mentoring others in instructional design practices and tools.
