As a key member of the leadership team, you will support employee relations, guide supervisors and managers, reinforce a strong safety culture, and ensure HR practices align with all legal and customer-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to site leadership, including the General Manager
- Manage employee relations matters with consistency, fairness, and professionalism
- Act as a trusted coach and advisor to supervisors and managers
- Promote and support health and safety initiatives and compliance
- Monitor employee timekeeping and attendance to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Partner with payroll by providing accurate timekeeping-related data
- Support onboarding processes, including system setup and employee integration
- Track and ensure compliance with training programs and documentation
- Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and addressing staffing needs
- Communicate workforce planning needs across shifts to leadership
- Coach and cross-train supervisors to strengthen leadership capabilities
- Manage employee leaves, schedules, and benefits in a high-volume environment
- Handle sensitive employee and managerial matters with discretion and confidence
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
- 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably supporting operations leadership
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and develop supervisors and managers
- Strong experience in employee relations within high-volume or multi-shift environments
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and their practical application
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
