Responsibilities
- Screen resumes and applications against defined hiring criteria.
- Coordinate interviews, pre-employment steps, and candidate communications.
- Schedule new-hire orientation and prepare orientation materials.
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity records and trackers.
- Support hiring events and onsite interview days.
- Coordinate onboarding tasks with IT, Payroll, and Facilities.
- Conduct new-hire orientations and maintain employee files.
- Assist with offboarding processes and exit interview logistics.
- Update HR systems and SharePoint sites.
- Generate and distribute routine HR reports.
- Respond to employee inquiries about benefits, payroll, and HR policies.
- Provide backup support for payroll and timekeeping processes.
- Uphold confidentiality and data integrity.
- Coordinate training logistics and track completions.
- Facilitate engagement activities such as plant events.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and plant operations.
- Demonstrate action orientation and effective prioritization.
- 1–2 years of experience in recruiting or HR within a manufacturing plant environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with ATS/HRIS and job boards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective listening and attention to detail.
- Ability to interact confidently with candidates, employees, and leadership.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is strongly preferred.
- Customer service and administrative support experience.
