Responsibilities
The work environment is a supportive, fast-paced, and team-oriented office and showroom setting focused on home improvement projects. You will spend much of your time at the front desk and in the showroom, using computers, Microsoft Office, customer databases, and scheduling systems to manage communications and appointments. The role involves regular phone, email, text, and in-person interactions with customers and colleagues, as well as occasional participation in off-site or on-site events to set appointments and engage with homeowners. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom and workspace that supports both safety and a positive customer experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by managing inbound and outbound communication via phone, text, email, and in person.
- Schedule appointments for specialists to meet with homeowners regarding their home improvement projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom and workspace that helps customers envision their projects.
- Participate in occasional in-person events to set appointments and deliver a positive, professional customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through consistent, reliable, and courteous communication.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date records in customer databases and scheduling systems.
- Support front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing customers appropriately.
- Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, document preparation, and managing correspondence.
- Follow established safety procedures and support health and safety practices within the workspace.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work culture.
- Take on additional office-related tasks and responsibilities as needed to support daily operations.
- Previous customer service experience, including direct interactions over the phone and in person.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, and the ability to use multiple computer systems and screens.
- Strong administrative support and clerical skills, including data entry and front desk operations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to following safety procedures and supporting health and safety practices.
- Experience in administrative assistance or office administration.
- Interest in home improvement projects and creating a positive customer experience.
- Ability to represent the organization professionally at in-person events.
