Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide direction to the entire molding team daily. This would include, but not limited to equipment related supervision and support of molding m/c and Die PM’s, all equipment recovery and maintenance, vendor/supplier contact and scheduling support/repairs, and 6S activity. On the administrative side the working coordinator would provide support for MRO requests, permanent stock parts and searches, Glovia entries, Team support/scheduling, ADP entries/tracking, and assisting in the evaluation process.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direction for the entire Molding team (3-shifts) daily activity for, production needs, equipment, and administrative needs. Assist in training new employees. 20%
- Perform equipment and Die PM’s. Support new model activities. 20%
- Contact Vendor for maintenance, repairs, and shutdown activities. 15%
- Enter and provide support for administrative needs, such as parts ordering, permanent part stocking, MRO requests, and ADP entries and tracking. 10%
- Perform the scheduling of associates on all three shifts for daily, weekend, and shutdown coverage. Assist Manager with associate evaluations. 15%
- Provide up to date quality communications with upper management. 10%
- Perform and lead all 6S activities. 5%
- Other Duties as Assigned. 5%
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- Minimum 8 years of related equipment maintenance experience in a Plastic Injection environment.
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-year technical related degree or technical certification on machine maintenance
- 10 years of related equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiar with computers, electronic forms, spreadsheets, electronic work orders.
- Ability to lead small groups, give directions, and troubleshoot problems for root cause
