General Summary:
A Master Scheduler/ECC (Engineering Change Coordinator) is responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule to ensure that customer orders, inventory targets, and production efficiency goals are met. This role will also be responsible for managing and communicating ECO’s (engineering change orders) as well as new part set up and BOM (Bill of Materials) maintenance. This role will coordinate cross-functionally with production, procurement, sales, and material planning to balance supply and demand while optimizing resources and eliminating delays,
Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. Manage and update Internal Production Capacity. Translate sales forecasts and orders into a detailed production plan that aligns with manufacturing capabilities Monitor and adjust the production schedule as needed to address changes in demand, supply disruptions, machine availability, and or labor constraints. Collaborate with Material Planning and Procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components. Coordinate with Production Teams to optimize production runs, reduce change over time, and meet delivery commitments. Work with Materials and Warehouse Teams to ensure efficient flow of materials and finished goods. Manage planning parameters Part set up (MRP & MPS) Freight /Overhead % maintenance Receive & Submit design changes BOM creation and maintenance S&OP Management Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education, Work Experience, Certification
Can work with little supervision High level of accuracy and precision regarding data collection Ability to problem solve with a realistic understanding of site and inventory issues Forklift certified or willing to obtain Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Attention to detail Basic data entry skills Ability to multitask efficiently Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements
