- Initiate, develop, and manage IT-related contracts throughout the full lifecycle.
- Support contract planning, development, execution, modification, renewal, and closeout.
- Coordinate with procurement, legal, and IT stakeholders to ensure compliance with purchasing and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and support Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Support procurement activities including kickoff and pre-proposal meetings, vendor Q&A, proposal evaluations, approval tracking, and contract routing through legal and purchasing review.
- Monitor financial aspects of contracts, including funding, burn rate, and expenditures.
- Track contract performance, scope, renewals, expirations, amendments, and compliance.
- Support vendor performance monitoring, issue resolution, and change management activities.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation (digital and physical) and ensure proper recordkeeping.
- Communicate contract processes, conditions, and status updates clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain schedules, calendars, meeting agendas, notes, action items, and follow-ups.
- Support day-to-day procurement and contract operations within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2 years of experience in contract management or contract administration.
- 2 years of experience providing administrative or coordination support within an IT organization.
- 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure concepts.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience supporting IT purchasing or procurement activities, preferably within government environments (federal, state, or local).
- Experience supporting or managing enterprise-level or high-visibility IT programs.
- Familiarity with vendor management, contract performance tracking, and compliance monitoring.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Ability to work onsite in Towson, MD as required (hybrid schedule).

About The Role
We are seeking a highly organized Contract Manager to support technology procurement, contract administration, and vendor coordination within a large IT organization. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT-related contracts while ensuring compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and organizational standards.
Location: Hybrid – Towson, MD
