ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and manage budgets for multiple parts of the organization
- Lead invoicing analysis team
- Advise leadership of the company on financial analysis results
- Minimize company demurrage exposure by managing and fully understanding vessel laytimes
- Manages company account receivable process
- Compares and analyzes actual results with plans and forecasts
- Creates financial analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques and recommending actions
- Reconciles and audits accounts as assigned
- Develops, supports, and maintains analysis tools for use in business applications
- Provides financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for business projects
- Creates monthly financial analysis reports for review by business leadership
- Generate ad-hoc reporting on operational or financial performance
- Perform other duties as required
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
5 years’ experience in the Finance and Accounting Industry preferred
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred
