Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing network solutions, maintaining both on-premises and cloud-based networks, and collaborating with project managers to ensure seamless project execution. We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and is eager to grow into a leading subject matter expert in cutting-edge technology solutions.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience
• Experience managing Public Cloud Accounts (AWS VPCs / Azure Tenents) and cloud connectivity through a direct cloud exchange provider such as Equinix or Digital Realty
• Must have experience with Infoblox
• Proficiency in Cisco switching and routing, primarily Nexus series
• Familiarity with Scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JSON, YAML, etc.) and Automation Tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of incidents and issues
• Understanding of Network Security Best Practices, Firewall Rule Management, Load Balancers, Service Mesh Technology, Linux/MS Windows Environments, and VMWare Environments
• Ability to work independently and progress in a proactive manner
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certifications in relevant technologies
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Additional scripting or automation experience
• Experience with advanced networking technologies

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

Other Requirements:

• This is a fully onsite position in FM; must be able to commute daily.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow appropriate change control and release processes
