Scrum Master II – Middleware

A prominent fortune 500 financial services firm with a nationwide network of independent financial advisors. This company offers an extensive selection of investment products and services to individuals, businesses, and institutions, with a strong emphasis on utilizing innovation and technology to cultivate client relationships.

What You Will Be Doing

This Scrum Master will be supporting Middleware teams, meeting them where they are in their agile journey and influencing more agile maturity. Additionally, ensuring that they adhere to the principles of Agile practices and scrum framework values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Scrum experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Experience supporting middleware and data/analytics teams with a strong understanding of backend systems, including API feeds, data warehousing, and reporting.
• Experience leading Agile teams through various stages of maturity, applying SAFe practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Utilize Kanban where appropriate and coach teams on effective delivery workflows.
• Communicate effectively with leadership, providing clear, concise status updates and addressing technical and situational questions.
• Act as a strong servant-leader, protecting the team while guiding them through Agile processes — experience with Kafka is a plus.
• Financial Services background highly preferred
