Role Description
This part-time on-site role, based in Kennewick, WA, is for a Scheduler/Lead Caregiver. The Scheduler/Lead Caregiver will coordinate care schedules, handle client and caregiver communication, and ensure coverage for all shifts. Additionally, this role will provide caregiving services, including assisting clients with daily living activities, facilitating transportation to appointments, and delivering emotional support. The role requires excellent organization and communication, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and care for clients and staff alike.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills, including proficiency in using scheduling tools and software
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in caregiving tasks, including assisting with daily living activities, transportation, and providing emotional support
- Leadership abilities to oversee and support caregivers effectively
- HCA/CNA and CPR certification and a valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access
- Ability to adhere to state and company standards for care, with attention to detail and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with elder care, dementia care, or post-surgical care is a plus
